Common questions
- How do I redeem a gift code from my agent?
- Open HomeThoughts, go to Settings, and choose Redeem a code. Enter the code your agent gave you and Full Access unlocks for you and your linked partner. Codes are valid for 12 months from when they were issued.
- How do I link with my partner?
- In Settings, choose Partner linking and send your partner an invite. Once they accept on their iPhone, you share one workspace: the same homes, captures, notes, and reports. Either of you can unlink anytime in Settings.
- I bought Full Access but the app says I haven’t. What do I do?
- Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. This asks Apple to confirm your purchase and unlocks the app again. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple account you used to buy. If it still doesn’t work, email us.
- Does my partner need to buy Full Access too?
- No. One Full Access purchase covers both of you. When you link accounts, your partner inherits the unlock automatically.
- How do I delete my account and data?
- Open HomeThoughts, go to Settings, and choose account deletion. This permanently deletes your account and all synced data and media, including photos, voice memos, transcripts, and reports. If you can’t access the app, email [email protected] and we’ll delete it for you.
- What do I need to run HomeThoughts?
- An iPhone running iOS 17 or later. HomeThoughts is iPhone-only today; there’s no Android, iPad, or web version yet.
- Are my captures private?
- Yes. Captures are private by default and visible only to you, and your linked partner if you link accounts. Voice transcription happens on your iPhone. Nothing is shared unless you create a share link yourself, and you can revoke a share link anytime.
Deleting your account and data
Account deletion is built into the app: open Settings, choose account deletion, and confirm. This permanently removes your account and everything synced to it, including photos, voice memos, transcripts, notes, and reports. There's no waiting period and nothing to email.
If you no longer have access to the app, email [email protected] from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you.
